Yoga for Every Body
Vinyasa Flow is a style of yoga that does not follow a single yoga philosophy or sequence of postures so that each class is unique – designed around a specific focus.  The focus may be strengthening or opening a specific space in the body or working towards a peak posture through movement and breathing.

In a Vinyasa Flow class, classical hatha yoga postures are linked with the breath in a continuous and smooth flowing movement, lending an almost dance like quality to the class.  Vinyasa brings warmth to the body developing an increase in flexibility, strength and cardiovascular endurance. Breathing practices and guided relaxation centre and calm the mind leading to a sense of well being.

Chair Yoga is a gentle adaptive form of yoga that enables those with mobility challanges to practice  hatha yoga postures from the stability and support of a chair.  The emphasis in a Chair Yoga class is improving body alignment and posture, connecting with and deepening the breath, stimulating and mobilizing key joints in the body and increasing overall strength and flexibility.

Flexibility enhancing Yin Yoga is a great complement to an active yoga practice.  This gentle yet intense style targets the dense connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis and lower spine.  Long posture holds of three to five minutes enable one to slow down - the mind and the breath leading to a meditative state.
